Ferdinand Paci
This is a reflection on the compelling reasons for presenting the work of Ferdinand Paci (1940-1975) for the first time in Italy, side by side with the work of his son Adrian, in the attempt to outline a number of significant similarities and differences. Their careers were shaped by contrasting contexts; since they belong to two completely different periods in Albanian history, we can see these two artists as emblematic of the country’s social and political transformations, from the birth of the People’s Republic to the present.
