The third edition of Ekrani i Artit Film Festival was a fusion of documentary film, video art, and experimental film. Launched as a selection of films from the Florentine film festival Lo Schermo dell’arte, this edition brought together a diverse selection of films from the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen, Lo schermo dell’arte, Van Abbemuseum collection of video and film, a selection of Albanian video art from recent years, a set of short films by German director Sylvia Schedelbauer as well as a longer film by Albanian artist Pleurad Xhafa. A new, innovative addition took place with the distribution of the projects in different courtyards around Shkodra, where public and private spaces were interwoven with a traditional and contemporary atmosphere. Apart from the film presentations, musical performances were organized at Arka Youth Center with special guest Kolë Laca and Beatrice Gjergji with their project Shkodra Elektronike.
